KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA
Heritage Trail 3 is an element of the River of Life KL Masterplan design. Along this signage directed route through the historic heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown, WHZED directors and staff used their unique understanding of landart to add artistic complexity to the streetscape.
Sculpture by local artist Stephanie Kuen combined with interpretive signage at the forefront of design built a complete land-scape through historic Chinatown. Paving and street furniture bring the concept and theme full circle.
